  • Take Failure Messages
    1. The message printed when the user attempts to take something that they cannot.
    2. Note: A random message is chosen to display.
    3. Example: You can't take that.

  • Move Failure Messages
    1. The message printed when the user attempts to move in a direction that they cannot.
    2. Note: A random message is chosen to display.
    3. Example: You can't go there.

  • Look Failure Messages
    1. The message printed when the user attempts to look at something non-existent.
    2. Note: A random message is chosen to display.
    3. Example: You can't see that here.
Fun Trivia:

I used to hate when a game would say "You can't use that here" or "You can't see that here" - when it actually meant "You can't do that at all" or "You will never ever see that" because it lead me to believe that I was on the right track, just in the wrong location.
